We built Xerol to make outdoor space planning simple, fun, and stress-free. This agreement lays out how we work together to make your patio, balcony, and garden design experience as smooth as possible, with no hidden fine print.
No account or personal information required to use all core features — you can jump right into uploading photos, placing virtual furniture, testing sun shadow simulations, and exporting plans the second you open the app, no sign-up hoops to jump through.
Your Content, Full Ownership
Everything you create in Xerol belongs 100% to you:
- Photos of your outdoor spaces that you upload are never accessed or used by our team unless you explicitly choose to share them with us for support purposes
- Custom layouts, saved projects, and virtual design plans are yours to use, edit, and delete whenever you want directly in the app
- We only store your project data temporarily to support your current design session; you can clear all local saved data at any time from your device settings
Our Promises to You
We’re committed to keeping Xerol a reliable, useful tool for all your outdoor planning needs:
- We will continuously update our sun and shadow simulation algorithm to keep location-based and seasonal previews as accurate as possible
- No intrusive pop-up ads will interrupt your design workflow — we keep the focus on your planning process
- We will regularly add new virtual furniture, plant varieties, and planning tools for all users at no extra cost for core functionality
- If we ever retire any existing features, we will give you 30 days advance notice in the app so you can export all your saved projects before changes take effect
What We Ask From You
To keep Xerol working well for every user, we just have a few simple requests:
- Only upload photos and content that you have permission to use for your personal design planning
- Don’t use Xerol to send unsolicited design plans or spam other users
- Avoid overloading our servers with automated requests that could disrupt service for other people planning their outdoor spaces
- If you share your previews with contractors, designers, or family, note that simulations are estimations to guide planning, not a 100% exact guarantee of real-world conditions
Sharing & Exports
You can export and share your Xerol design plans as many times as you want, for any personal or professional project:
- Exported visual plans are yours to use for patio renovations, garden installations, or any other outdoor project without needing extra permission from us
- You can share plans directly with family, contractors, or design partners via the app's share feature, or save them to your device as image files
Agreement Updates
As we add new features to Xerol, we may update this agreement from time to time. We will post the updated version directly in the app with a clear notification of changes, and the new terms will take effect 14 days after posting. The version with the latest effective date at the top of this page is always the most current agreement.
